Short term let - May - mid June

I'm off to do Yoga teacher training and India and looking for someone to rent my room in Stratford for a short time.

I'm Richard, originally from Australia but now a Londoner of 12 years. My background lies in charity work and adventure travel, and I'm fortunate to run a chain of bouldering gyms, a passion I turned into a business. Travelling, outdoor adventures, sports, meeting new people, relishing good food, and creating memorable experiences are what fuel my spirit. I also enjoy cooking!

My ideal flatmates who I’m keen to live with will be likeminded people who are in their 30’s who value a social and enjoyable atmosphere at home. I hope to find kindred spirits with shared interests, those who I can still spend time together with and have a laugh and decent conversations with. It's always a good sign when our friends also hit it off.

I'm a laid-back Aussie, so I'm perfectly fine with occasional social gatherings or a bit of a party. However, I'm looking for housemates who will contribute to our amazing space, ensuring it stays clean and tidy. I am managing a somewhat demanding business and like to return to a home where fellow adults share the load and responsibilities. And if you have pets, they are absolutely welcome, though I'd request an extra deposit to account for any potential additional wear and tear.

Now, a bit about the house: it boasts a spacious kitchen, a separate office, three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms (a generously sized one upstairs with a shower and bath, and an extra toilet downstairs), a large garden complete with a fire pit, ping pong table, hammock, and sun loungers for the summer (did I mention I'm an Aussie? A hot tub is next on my list).

The rooms come furnished with double beds, wardrobes, and bedside tables. I'm more than happy to accommodate any additional furniture or make changes to enhance our living space. Having purchased the house last year, I'm always open to design and interior improvements to make it even cozier.

Location-wise, you can't ask for better - a mere 8-minute walk to Maryland station (Elizabeth line), a 15-minute stroll to Leyton station (central line), and just 15 minutes from Westfield London and Olympic Park!

Admin stuff:
Rent for one room is £800 + bills (£110). Min one month - max 2 months.

Bills will be shared equally among the three of us.

The deposit is equivalent to one month's rent.

Council Tax is in band D.
