Flatmate needed for homely 2 bed 2 bath massive flat with a terrace, owned by the city to share with one relaxed and kind tenant.

Looking for a flatmate to join me in the beautiful and modern two bedroom two bathroom flat with a terrace in the heart of East London and rented directly from local council. Sadly my flatmate is moving out and the room will be available for someone with good vibes who is looking for a place to call home.

Room:
Truly bigger than usual, with walk-in wardrobe, floor heating and on-suite bathroom. Plenty of space and sunlight. Freshly painted and with carpet washed for a new tenant.

Flat:
Tranquil and quiet, rather homely. We will share a speacious kitchen - leaving area with wooden floors, panoramic windows leading to a terrace. Floor heating, white goods in the new-like condition. There is also an extra storage in a boiler room (called Black Hole now), an outside box space, bike stand and lift.

Sharing with:
Myself :) professional, vegetarian (but always lived with meat lovers so that not a problem) Relaxed, positive and chatty (usually). Into books, traveling, jazz and meditation. I like my home to be friendly, nicely decorated and feel homely. Although I have my own busy life I like to come back home to a friendly face and someone I can occasionally share food and thoughts with. On a very rare occasions I like to entertain or host my friends. |(Covid rules allowing). I hope to be a considerate flatmate adjusting to my flatmate schedule (music, movies on headphones in the evening if needed etc). I am the kind of flatmate who will bring you some soup when you have flu. I am home share trained and made some good friends on the way.

Looking for:
Like-minded person, positive, friendly and considerate looking for a long term home.

Area:
There are couple of places to grab coffee or drink close by and our local park on a doorstep. Walking distance to local theater, cinema, Olimpic swimming pool (15 minutes).

Commuter dream:
2 min walk to Abbey Road station: DLR
8 min walk to West Ham: Jubilee, District and Hammersmith lines, DLR, trains
10 min walk to Stratford: Central line, trains also international, Overground, DLR
5 min bus stop with a couple of lines to Stoke Newington etc

Legal bits:

The rent will be £855 as per existing contract plus around £115 bills on average.
This is a private rental from Newham council (great and responsive professional landlord). You will be replacing my flatmate on a contract till October 2021. I will be looking to extend this contract in May/June so ideally you are looking for a long-term(ish) place to call home. (However it is easy to find a replacement should your schedule change). Ideally you will be in full time employment and earn 30k+ to meet affordability criteria.
There is no deposit required. Also the employment and referencing checks are done free of charge.

And yes, by the way, this is also a pet friendly home! My moving out flatmate has Newfoundland so try to outbid that ;)
