We live in a delightful 3 bed flat slap bang inbetween Tooting Broadway, Streatham, and Mitcham.

This is a joint tenancy with contract renewal in Sept 2024. It always renews as long as we want it to. The move in date has some flexibility post 21st April, but as this is a joint tenancy, applicable rent charges would have to start by 5th May latest.

We’re looking for someone friendly, mature, not disruptive, responsible with bills & household duties, & above all, very clean and considerate.

About us: We’re very friendly around the house, but we respect each other’s space and have our own social habits.

The room is a spacious double - the pictures are alright but it’s bigger in real life. Come and see! It’s basically an open canvas, you can rearrange things however you want.

Coming with the room: 2 chests of drawers (3 & 6 cabinet drawers, see pics), Wardrobe, Bed & Mattress < If you don’t want certain things or want to bring furniture, that’s no problem.

Leaving the room: Desk, 4 cabinet drawer

We have two bathrooms, and you’d share primary use of the upstairs bathroom with the housemate on your floor.

Gas & Electric - Quarterly. Currently working out to between £150-£200 per quarter.
Water - £17 monthly
Council Tax - £33 monthly
Internet - £14 monthly

So about £760-£800/month bills included

Housemate leaving was in charge of organising the gas & electric (British Gas), which you would take over. We each organise different bills in the house to spread responsibility.

The best bit - all major appliances in the house have been upgraded in the past 5 years - Boiler, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Induction Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave (it counts), Hoover (this too!) - the joys of adulting makes you excited about these things lol.

Locally: so many supermarkets, takeaways, newsagents, package collection/drop offs - all within walking distance.

Free parking on street and neighbouring streets.
