Double bedroom to rent in shared house

Hi everyone,

We are looking for someone to take the third room in our 3 bedroom house as our current housemate is sadly moving on. We are keen to keep the homely, fun and friendly vibes!

We’d love to find someone who is down to hang out, respect the space, enjoy Streatham as much as us and not just occupy the room. We’re both clean and tidy people and so we’d really value finding that quality in whoever takes the room.

Amy normally works from home Thursdays and Fridays and Ella is normally at home (or in the garden!) on Thursdays.

We’re both quite active and busy people, so the house is a bit quieter during the week as we tend to hit the mid-week gym classes or go out with friends. Our weekends can occasionally be quite busy too, especially now we’re going into the summer months, but we like to hang out together when we are all at home! We love a wine and Netflix binge and we have the occasional house night out for dinner/drinks or a pub quiz!

*The house:*
Spacious, modern 3 bedroom house with big living room/kitchen area and garden. Ella owns the house, so you’ll be living with someone who is constantly working on improving it and fixing it up. Next project is the kitchen stay tuned for that! She also loves gardening so whoever takes the room will have that to enjoy in the summer months too!👩🏻‍🌾🪴

Double bedroom with access to a shared bathroom with built-in storage space

Ella (29) - Specialist Nurse
Amy (30) - HR Manager

*The area:*
The house is on a lovely residential road about a 10 minute walk from Streatham Station. We’re right in the middle of Streatham which has lots of nice bars, restaurants and pubs. There are loads of buses going to Brixton which is about 15/20 minutes away on the bus and Streatham Hill station is about a 15 minute walk away.
In terms of shops, there is a big Lidl and small Sainsbury’s pretty much at the end of our road and a big Tesco about a 10 minute walk away.

*Timeframe:*
Lydia moves out at the end of May, so we’re looking for someone to move in from around the 26th May onwards.
