Double room for rent in modern home

Hey everyone! 🎉 We’re excited to share that we have a cozy double room available for rent because our best friend is off to chase their homeownership dreams!

This stylish, modern new build is bright and spacious, featuring a lovely open-plan living room and kitchen area perfect for hanging out. Plus, with both Streatham and Streatham Common stations just a short stroll away (5-10 minutes max!), getting around town is a breeze. There are also multiple bus stops nearby for even more travel options!

The available room is located downstairs, right next to a bathroom that you’ll share with just one other fantastic housemate. You can choose to have the room furnished or unfurnished, with items available for purchase from the current tenant.

Rent is £1000 per month, excluding bills. The tenancy currently runs out on 18th of July 2026, so it will be a short term tenancy of around 3 months. So if this suits you, viewings are available from now.

A bit about us: we’re three friends aged 31-37 who enjoy chilling together on the sofa for a Netflix binge or unwinding in our own spaces after a busy day.

The room will be ready for you from January 23rd, and our lease runs until July 18th, so you’ll have about a 6-month stay (we signed a 2-year contract). We’re hoping to renew our lease if the landlord agrees, which we believe she will!

We’d love to find a new housemate who’s a working professional, ideally with some London living experience, and at least 30 years old.

Oh, and just a heads up: the house is smoke-free and pet-free.
