Double Room in Tooting Bec/Streatham

Hi everyone! 💛

My lovely flat mate is moving out in a few weeks, so I’m on the hunt for someone new to join me in our 2-bed flat in Tooting Bec/Streatham. It’s just the two of us here, and I’ve lived here for over a year now. I absolutely love it, so finding the right person to share it with is really important to me!

The room is £925 per month (excluding bills), and it works out at around £1150 including bills. We rent through Foxtons, so they’ll need to run the usual credit checks before contracts are signed, and they’re looking for someone earning £38,000+. The rent gets paid on the 15th of every month out of my account so having someone who will transfer me the rent money and bill money promptly is important to me.

📍 The area is honestly great — we’ve got Aldi, Tesco and M&S Food nearby.
💪 There are gyms and a leisure centre close by.
🍔☕️🍰 Loads of lovely places to eat and grab coffee, and we’re only a 10 minute bus from Balham too!

A little about me:

I’m a primary teacher 👩🏻‍🏫 , so I’m out of the house all day and up early (I leave at 6:15am 😅), which means I do love an early night during the week. Because I’m out so much, the flat would be ideal for someone who works from home!

I love reading, going out for brunches 🌮🥙☕️, trying new local food spots, and I’m part of London Girls Bookclub 📚

More than anything, I’d love to live with someone who feels like a friend; someone considerate, easygoing and happy to share the space in a way that feels comfortable for both of us.
