Hi! We’re a young professional couple looking for a friendly, tidy lodger to live with us. We're renting our spare double room with its own en-suite in our two-bed flat in Streatham, SW London.

The room is bright and comfortable, with high ceilings and a large window looking out to our private garden that lets in plenty of natural light. It’s fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a desk. You’ll also have your own private en-suite bathroom.

Our flat is spacious and calm, with a shared living room and kitchen, plus access to our garden – great in the warmer months to sit at the picnic bench and have a cup of tea/coffee or an evening drink after work.

📍 Location
We’re in the heart of Streatham with lots of cafés, pubs and shops nearby. There are also plenty of green spaces for a run or weekend walk at Tooting and Streatham Common - both just a 5 minute walk away.

There are also easy transport links into central London, with a direct Thameslink train to Farringdon in under half an hour from Streatham Station, or alternatively a direct train to Victoria in fewer than 20 minutes from Streatham Common. Local buses run every few minutes up the road to Brixton.

For local amenities, we're lucky enough to have an M&S Foodhall, Aldi and Tesco Extra all just a few minutes away on foot, plus there's also a great selection of restaurants that deliver to the area.

We're both full-time professionals and keep the flat clean, relaxed and fairly quiet during the week. It’s not a party flat, but we’re a friendly and sociable household - we enjoy a chat or shared glass of wine over dinner, but we have our own routine too.
