Double Room in Lovely Streatham Flatshare!

Hi everyone! I’m sadly leaving my lovely flatshare in Streatham, as I need a bit more space for my WFH set up. The area is so nice that I’m only moving 5 mins away!

The room is bright and cosy, fitting a double bed as well as wardrobe, chest of drawers and small desk and chair. Furniture is all included! The room also has really nice wooden floors.

The flat also has a split bathroom (which is ideal for getting ready in the morning!), a kitchen with large fridge/freezer and washing machine (with in-built tumble dryer). There’s also an adjoining sitting area with sofas that looks onto our private garden! I know the girls have big plans for flowers and al fresco dining! The garden gets lots of sun, so has also been great for drying clothes outside on the terrace.

You’ll be living with Shalini who works in travel and Shana who freelances in set design and also works in a nearby pub! Both the girls are so lovely and have been great to live with, so it’s bittersweet leaving!

The flat is on a quiet residential street, just off the high road with access to all the shops and other amenities (Lidl and Sainsbury’s are our nearest shops). Streatham Hill station is a 9 min walk away and Streatham station a 14 min walk away (though you can also easily catch a bus to be quicker/when it’s raining). Also a 2 min walk to the bus stop with buses every 2/3 mins to Brixton station for access to the Victoria line. Otherwise we’re about a 15 min walk to Tooting common, which has been great for running and also where Shalini and I play tennis!

The landlord would like another female professional. Pets unfortunately aren’t allowed (although we’ve befriended the neighbour’s cat who comes into our garden!).

The room is £700, and then bills are around £142 a month (though likely to decrease a bit now we’re going into the summer). Council tax band C.
