Spacious room in friendly house in Streatham Hill

The room

I am moving out of this spacious room in a quiet street in Streatham Hill, and am looking for someone to take my place.

You will be living with Brett (33), Maja (31), Pal (28), and the house leader Meowrice the cat. They are a welcoming bunch and it's a relaxed and easygoing house, in which you can watch TV with the rest of the house in the evening or have your own space when you want.

The room is around 165 sq. ft (15.4 sq m), and is at the back of the house, overlooking the garden (which is a great place for working from home in the summer or just lying in the sun). The bathroom is shared with two others. Downstairs, there is a living room, kitchen, and dining room.

I work in Bloomsbury and it takes me about 45-50 minutes door-to-door (you can get to Brixton in about 15 minutes - the buses are very regular - and then you're on the Victoria Line). You can also get the train into Central London from Tulse Hill, which is a 10-minute walk away.

There are some lovely parks not too far away: we are within walking distance of Brockwell Park, Tooting Common and (slightly further) Streatham Common. Streatham Hill has some nice cafes - I often start my day in Batch & Co when I'm working from home - and is fancy enough to have a Gail's now.

The Council Tax band is F, and bills are around £113/month including internet, Council Tax, and electricity (everything apart from water, which is around £100 every six months).

We're looking for someone from around early May but the move in date is negotiable - it could potentially be a bit earlier or later.

Viewings are likely to be in the week of 16th March.
