Comes furnished at £750 a month. for couple and £715 for a single renter. The room comes with a faux leather double bed, wardrobes, desk and chair and bedside table. The house is minutes walk from Streatham Hill station. The house is set very far from street and is a registered house of multiple occupation. We have a group of lovely caring young professionals renting here already and I know I am very lucky. They are very sociable, friendly, responsible, clean and very caring. The house is so large you will have plenty of space so no overcrowding here and you will have plenty of quiet spaces to yourself. The room is bright, airy and warm. There is NO HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES AT ALL and no agent fees. JUST RENT. As this is the fixed rent so there is no surprises of further costs. Our heater is on 24 hours and hot water is the same running continuously. We are in zone 3 and minutes walk from Streatham Hill station and there are plenty of trains that takes less than 20 minutes to get into London bridge and Victoria, Clapham Junction, Battersea, etc and Croydon. You can catch one of the plenty of buses which takes 10 minutes to Brixton tube on Victoria line and other buses to Tooting, Kingston and Street and beyond. One train stop (less than 5 minutes) to Balham underground also. Shops, cinema, restaurants and gym and banks and local parks are close by on foot. Shared facilities include a large dining room with a table setting for eight people which is suitable for all your entertaining needs. There is a very large separate kitchen with plenty of hobs, oven, cupboards, fridges and freezers. Other shared facilities include numbers of toilets, shower rooms, bathroom. and a separate laundry room with a washing machine and a separate dryer. The current tenants we have are very friendly, sociable and all are professionals and clean and caring so I am sure you will enjoy sharing the house with them like I and my family do so far. We would welcome a single working professional. We don't mind a smoker so long as you do not mind smoking in the back and front garden of the house as we have very large front gardens in the front and back of the house. There are plenty of FREE parking spaces for cars in our own private front garden also and a bicycle shed for all your bicycles if you have one. Back garden is also very large and so you can enjoy all the Summer barbecue and sun bathing or for all your laundry drying if you prefers to use the drying lines instead. As live in landlord, you will get a lot more support than in a normal shared house and I can act as an independent person as well to co-ordinate rota and sort out issues of disrepair straight away.
