I am looking for a tidy professional to rent a lovely en suite double bedroom in my 2 bed, 2 bath terraced house in Surrey Quays. The room is available now (but can wait until mid-late August if needed!).
The room is on the ground floor and has its own newly fitted en suite. I can offer the room furnished (double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers) but equally happy for you to bring your own furniture if you prefer. There is also additional under stair storage space for you to use.
On the first floor is a fully equipped, brand new kitchen and a lovely living room. As you can see from the photos, I have a lot of house plants! I really want my flatmate to feel at home - I am more than happy for you to make your room completely your own and don't want you to feel like a guest! I am super tidy so am looking for a fellow neat freak.
The rent is inclusive of all bills (all utilities, council etc and a bi-weekly cleaner, broadband, TV and Netflix).
The house is located in a private gated mews away from the main road so is very peaceful and secure. 10-15 mins walk to Surrey Quays (overground), 15-20 mins walk to Canada Water (overground, jubilee line) and South Bermondsey (Southern); there is also a bus stop right outside the mews.
I work in food development and am a trained chef, so I make a lot of cakes! I do enjoy a night out or just a few drinks, but I also love a Saturday night in watching a movie... so someone similar would be great (this is definitely not a party house!).
