Double room in calm & clean waterfront house

There's a room available in our 4-bed waterfront house, move-in from the end of November / start of December! A cosy furnished double room on the top floor of this spacious 4-bed house. The room is south facing and features plenty of natural light, and overlooks a quiet gated courtyard complete with rustling trees in the summer.

The neighbourhood is quiet but features all the amenities within a short walking distance (miniTesco, megaTesco, gyms & yoga, cafés, restaurants, bank, cinema and (pre-Covid) Printworks, etc. Climbing centre & food market are a short bike-ride away). Would suit an outdoorsy / nature-lover as our loudest neighbours are the birds.

House is very clean, spacious and features all the furnishings, including a open-plan lounge/dining room with waterfront views, a TV and a large kitchen. There's no agency involved, so we deal directly with the landlord.

All 4 housemates (3f, 1m, international) work in the film/creative industries (except Muesli the cat, who works from home and still won't tell us what her job is) - however, this isn't a prerequisite for living with us! All applicants are welcome but unfortunately no couples, soz.

Our ideal housemate:
- sees home as a safe space to relax and unwind (glass of wine optional)
- is chill, no drama, considerate of shared spaces & boundaries
- pays bills & rent on time
- cleans. up. after. themselves.
- generally helps to take trash out / empty dishwasher / sweep floor / wipe hob / keep shared spaces looking FRESH round the clock.

Room is £585 + bills (avg. £100/month per person - lower in summer, higher in winter). We use an app called Splitwise to log house expenses.
