Bright Room in a 2 bedroom flat (Bills inc.)

I'm renting out my second bedroom.

The Room

The room is fully furnished with a double bed with a fairly new comfortable Emma mattress, two drawers for storage under the bed, nice soft gray carpet, a bedside table and a spacious wardrobe with a mirror. There is also a window next to the bed so it allows plenty of light in throughout the day.

The Flat

The flat is a 2 bedroom modern apartment with very nice and quiet neighbours, it is on the 4th floor and there is a lift. It has a shared living room and kitchen, a good size bathroom and a balcony.

The kitchen is open-plan and has a lot of storage, washing machine, kettle, large fridge and freezer, oven, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and there are pots and pans available too cook, as well as cutlery.

In the living room there is a TV with Netflix, a sofa, and a dining table, where I normally work 4 times a week.

Location

The flat is located only 7 mins walk to Surrey Quays (overground), 10 mins to Canada Water (Jubilee line) and buses to Central London (Bus no. 1 to Tottenham Court rd, bus no. 381 to London Bridge and Waterloo), and 5 mins to South Bermondsey station ( trains to London Bridge in 5mins).

For your easy reference, it takes 20 mins to Canary Wharf, 25mins to Liverpool Street/Bank and 30mins to the West End.

The flat is next to Southwark Park, ideal for a walk after work, going for a run or weekend relaxing time, with a couple of gyms in 10 minutes walk. The Canada Water shopping centre it’s 8 mins walk, where you can find a Tesco Extra, Decathlon and some restaurants. I like this area because it’s quiet and peaceful with good transport links.

About me

I am a finance professional and I work Monday to Friday 9-6 ish. I usually go to the office 1 day a week and work from home the rest, although this varies. I consider myself a clean, quiet and friendly guy. I have shared flat in the past with no issues.

Cost

Rent and bills are £950 all bills included.

There is a cleaner who comes twice a month and it is also included in the rent. The idea is to keep the flat clean, fresh and tidy every day between us.

Ideally I am looking for a person in full-time employment, respectful and considerate of others, someone clean who would treat the flat like their own home. There is space in the living room for working from home days as well.
