Large double room on Telegraph Hill

I am looking for a flat mate to share my beautiful home in Telegraph Hill.

The flat has three bedrooms, one bathroom and an extra toilet, a large living / dining room and a small but functional kitchen. You would be sharing with me and my miniature dachshund, Scooby.

The room is large and contains a double bed, double wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. There's pegs to hang coats, bags, etc. and lots of space for storage under the bed as well. There is also space for a desk, although there is not currently one in the room.

The living room has an eco-friendly wood-burning stove (the cost of logs is not included in the rent, but it is up to you whether you want to contribute to this), a large sofa and a dining table with 5 chairs.

The flat is on the top floor (and the neighbours are nice).

I am a friendly young professional and I am looking for a happy, fun and respectful flat mate, ideally someone that I can share a meal with from time to time, but who also likes some alone / quiet time too. I'd also be happy to live with a couple (but I would ask for additional rent as the bills will be higher and the shared space would be busier - total £1400). I tend to work fairly hard during the week and I like to keep the place clean and tidy (although Scooby occassionally likes to leave his toys lying around :-p). Scooby is well behaved, sociable and fully trained.

Internet and all bills are included. I have a lovely cleaner who comes ever Wednesday for 2.5 hours to clean communal areas. This is also included in rent (and if you want extra services like changing your bed or ironing this can be arranged at additional cost).

The flat is 15 minutes from New Cross Gate Station, 8 minutes from Nunhead Station, and 10 minutes from Queen's Road Peckham Station.


There is a third double room in the flat which I am not currently renting.

There is no maximum stay - I cannot seem to edit the ad to remove the "1 month maximum" but this is wrong. It should state "1 month minimum"/"no maximum"
