Transport links from Thamesmead are fast and reliable - Abbey Wood, Plumstead, and Woolwich Arsenal train stations/ Woolwich DLR 12 minutes bus ride. Abbey Wood and Plumstead overland are within a 10 minute bus ride. We are also eagerly awaiting Crossrail/Elizabeth line from Woolwich which will allow access to Central London in under 17 minutes.

Area:-
The house is located a 2 minute walk from Thamesmead town centre. Local amenities are excellent and include:-
G. P., 2 Dentists, Optician, Post Office, 3 supermarkets, Gym, Pool, Library, Argos, Wilkinson's, Next, Pet's at home, Fast food outlets, and access to the Thames path for walking and cycling.

The House:-
I don’t have a car so there is a private parking space available for your sole use.
There is a lovely Magnet Shaker style kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, duel fuel oven, microwave and lots of other amenities (juicer, food processor etc.) Washing can be hung in the garden, or on a clothes horse (supplied) during inclement weather. The double bedroom is fully furnished; bed, desk, large set of drawers and built in wardrobe. The garden has a terraced area, lawn, mature shrubs, bbq and room for gardening.

About You:- I'm looking for a tidy, fairly quiet, professional or student with an active social life. The room is single occupancy only. Although guests are welcome, I would prefer that overnight guests are here no more than once a week and are discreet and quiet.

Couples/Monday to Friday lodgers also considered subject to amended payment. .

About Me:-
I have been renting out a room in my home since 2013. I get on very well with my current lodger, but she has now left to be closer to work.

I have three house trained cats, who live both in/outside so it's essential that you're animal friendly. I am post graduate, currently setting up my own small business. I smoke but only in the garden. I am a warm, fairly easy going person who believes in open discourse. I would prefer to live with someone who likes a bit of a chat whilst also respecting each other's need for space/peace and quiet.
