£900 Double bedroom available in Tooting Broadway

Two rooms available in great house in Tooting Broadway. 10 minutes walk from Tooting Broadway station and 3 minutes walk from Tooting train station. Close to local shops, amenities, pubs and restaurants, including the very cool Tooting market.

THE FLAT
This is a nice spacious top floor terrace flat in Tooting. It has great high ceilings and is bright throughout. There is a big living room with enclosed bookcases, tv, Amazon fire stick and variety of tv subscriptions and comfy sofas. This is a great space for relaxing and a favourite room in the house. Decent size kitchen complete with dishwasher, washing machine, oven etc. I’m a bit of a cook, so have a good range of gadgets, utensils and tools which people are free to use. The house comes with two bathrooms, one with bath on both floors, so you never feel on top of each other. There is also a small dining room (currently being used as a messy office but this will revert back next month) and a small private garden with some outdoor furniture, washing line and space for plants if you have a green thumb.
Bills on average are around £70-£90 PCM in summer and £100 - £120 PCM in winter (stupid energy costs). Landlords are great and very responsive. This was their house and they have since moved away but they really care about the property and are always quick to respond and answer any questions. It’s a great house and we’ve been very happy here for the past three years.

ROOM 1: Double Room (£900 PCM)
The first room is a nice sized double (coral wall picture). It’s on the first floor of the house and includes double bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and built in fitted wardrobe. There is also eaves storage on the top floor that can be used. This is a nice room, quiet and often retains heat the best as right in the centre of the house. This is actually been my room for 3 years and has been great, I am just moving into the bigger room in the house.

ROOM 2: Double Room + Private roof terrace (£1,100)
Great, bright and airy room on the top floor of the flat. This is a new extension that was only completed 3 years ago. Good size and comes furnished with double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, desk and wardrobe. You also get a really amazing roof terrace accessible by French doors within the room. This is amazing in the summer months and is a proper sun spot. There is also great eaves storage accessible from the terrace.

FLATMATES:
You’ll be living with me, Matt. 32 year old, Welsh professional. I’m into baking, stand up, swimming, ju jitsu. I very much consider the flat home and would like my flatmates to feel the same. Happy to chill in the living room with drinks and crappy tv but also am out doing my own thing a lot. I’m quite laid back and easy going. I’m not fussy if you work from home or are in the office. There are two rooms so will try and sync up whoever takes each room to make sure we all get on.
Current flatmates are sadly leaving as they are going travelling and the other has a cushy deal in a friend’s flat.
