I’ve got a room available in a 2 bed 1 bath flat in Tooting Broadway (less than 5 mins from the tube) from 2nd April.

The room:
It’s a small double (3/4 double bed) but is really cosy and the current setup works well for storage. The room is furnished with additional furniture (shelves) that I plan to leave when I move out.

The costs:
Rent £950 plus approx. £140 in bills
Deposit £1096
Subject to affordability and reference checks
Current tenancy agreement runs until Nov 2026 so looking for someone to stay longer term.

About the flat:
It’s a first floor flat close to loads of good places to eat and drink, Tooting market is less than 10 mins away! Tooting Bec common is about a 10 minute walk away too. The flat feels really safe and secure and has good transport links to central. Tooting Broadway tube (northern line) is less than 5 mins walking and there are buses (Clapham Junction, Earlsfield etc) that go from the end of the road. Aldi and Sainsbury’s are both less than 10 mins walk, and there are more options ~15 mins walk away towards Tooting Train Station.

About the flatmate:
Hattie is 26 and works in healthcare as a scientist; she rarely works from home but sometimes once a week ish. She’s pretty active and loves to run, go to the gym or go on a walk. She loves a chill night in as much as a trip to the pub but tends to keep it laid back during the week as work is busy! She’s looking for someone a similar age who ideally doesn’t wfh all week and who she can be sociable with 😌
