Double Room with Bathroom in Modern Flat (Tooting)

I’m looking for a housemate to take the double room in my recently redecorated two-bed flat, ideally for a long-term let. The room comes fully furnished with its own private bathroom, a big wardrobe, TV and an ottoman double bed with loads of storage. All bills are included as well!

The flat itself is spacious and modern, with a big open-plan living room and kitchen, plus a large balcony with seating and a cheeky fire pit that’s perfect for summer drinks. The development has a gym just a two-minute walk from the flat, along with lift access, secure bike storage and a 24-hour concierge. It’s right next to Wimbledon football ground and opposite a large Lidl, Starbucks and Greggs. There are great transport links nearby, either within walking distance or a quick bus ride away, including Haydons Road (Thameslink), Earlsfield (Overground), Wimbledon Park or Wimbledon (District Line) and Tooting Broadway (Northern Line), making it really easy to get into central London.

A bit about me: I’m Tom, 32, working in architecture and currently finishing my master’s, which wraps up this summer. I’m pretty chilled during the week but enjoy being social and going out at weekends. I’m looking for someone fun, easygoing and like-minded who’s clean and tidy, and ideally someone who wants to be mates as well as housemates. I’d much rather live with someone I genuinely get on with than feel like strangers sharing a flat.

I also share my dog with my ex, so there’ll be a friendly, fluffy dog (Jacob) around for a couple of weeks each month. He’s very social and loves new people, so you’ll need to be a dog person and enjoy lots of cuddles!
