Room in friendly House Share

Hey! After 3 years happily living here our housemate is moving out to live with her boyfriend, and so a lovely room in our Tooting house has become available. The existing housemates are Siobhan, Thomo and me (Mark) we are friendly, considerate and fun people to live with. We’re looking for a housemate who is up for hanging out, but equally happy doing their own thing, and who cleans up after themselves (much appreciated!). We're a sociable house and like to have friends round, have house dinners and movie nights, go for pub quizzes, and host the occasional party, but we also appreciate that people have their own lives and work to be cracking on with and can give each other space when needed!

Move in date is 12th April but can move in earlier if checks etc go through!


The room is cozy and on the small side which is reflective in the price. It comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe and storage unit and can be made into a comfortable space. There is a spare room which is mainly used by the person who has this room and is used currently as a work space.
The house is recently renovated with a modern kitchen and there is also a back garden space which gets lots of sun in summer.

The house is between Tooting Broadway and Colliers Wood, near St George's Hospital. Tooting Broadway tube is a 12 min walk away and Tooting overground is just over 15 mins away too, with lots of bus routes on the adjacent street. There are a tonne of great restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs nearby, plus Tooting Market / Tooting Broadway Market. Our street is super friendly (we have a big WhatsApp chat) so everyone’s always looking out for each other - especially handy if you need someone to take a parcel for you!!

Bills are paid monthly - council tax is Band D, and in total bills come to roughly £80pcm. We also currently pay £15 each for a cleaner every two weeks.

The landlord will want a credit check and reference on whoever we pick before fully confirming but he is v laid back and chilled so this is more just so he knows who is coming in :)
