Double in two-bed garden-flat Turnpike Lane

Furnished double room in a two-bed ground floor garden-flat.

I am looking for someone over 30 to share the place, short-term or long-term. You would be sharing with a female professional, and Heidi the cat.

The room-size is decent (approx. 3m x 3.5m) and looks at the back of the house, towards the garden (south facing--gets plenty of light). Furniture includes a large wardrobe (can be split into two pieces), a desk and 2 chairs, bed, nice quality wooden blinds, a floor and a desk-lamp a mirror, and a recently added large natural rug, but the landlord is quite flexible with removing some of the furniture if not needed, and I can also help find more/different furniture.

The flat as a whole has two bedrooms (one is occupied by me), a separate living-room and kitchen, some additional storage, and is well-looked-after. It is fully equipped, and the garden is spacious.

The immediate neighbourhood is very safe, quiet, friendly, and full of character. The flat is at a 5-minute distance from Hornsey station and same distance from Turnpike Lane Piccadilly line station, top of Haringey Ladder. It benefits from shops and amenities of Hornsey, Wood Green high street and Green Lanes. It is only a few minutes’ walk to Crouch End, Alexandra Palace, Finsbury Park, Stoke Newington, and Tottenham too. In general terms the area is well-connected, with many options for going out, shopping, walks, sports, etc.

The flat has a creative vibe. I am sociable, but also like my private space.

The bills are approx. £120 p/m, including council tax, but this also depends on gas/electricity consumption.
