The Apartment:
I am looking for a female flatmate to share my beautiful, bright apartment with me. Your rent includes a double bedroom and all bills, with the opportunity to also add a second room which is perfect as a separate home office or work studio (more details available on request!).

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a side table and a desk. The apartment comes with a spacious lounge with big sliding windows, which lead to a balcony facing a quiet courtyard. The interior is quirky and minimalist with a few vintage pieces of my own. We have spacious built-in closets, a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and parking for free. We also have access to a lawn which no one seems to use, great for BBQ in the summer or winter! :)

The monthly rent includes bills and also the cost of a cleaner who comes every other week.

The Location:
The flat is a stone’s throw from Sydenham woods, great for long walks or running, in a calm residential neighbourhood. The apartment is well connected to public transport – just a 10min walk to Sydenham Hill Station which has trains to Victoria – and is a short bus journey to Sydenham, which is great for food shopping. East Dulwich isn’t far and excellent for a stroll with fantastic shops. Forest Hill Station is also nearby, where you can take the Overground to East London. I genuinely LOVE the greenery in this neighbourhood. Wells Park is a Hidden Gem and just around the corner.

The Roommate:
My name is Angela. I’m 41, a freelance hairdresser and originally from Germany but have lived in London on and off for several years. I’m a calm and friendly person who is open to new things and with a dry sense of humour. Friends and family are essential to me. I love going to exhibitions and have a great passion for arthouse films and documentaries, and am also an ambitious kickboxer. I’m vegan, but I am ok with having meat in the house.

You:
I am looking for a female flatmate who is looking for a shared home (not a party home!). Someone who is clean and tidy, perhaps shares similar interests and who likes nights out but equally likes nights in with good company, cooking, watching a movie. Someone who likes doing flatmate things together and enjoys London life but who equally enjoys time on their own and has their separate life.

When:
The move-in date would be discussed with my current flatmate who is moving out, but he is pretty flexible. The current tenancy contract is valid until September 2022.
