I am moving out of my double room in Vauxhall after five years. It's been a great place to live - a proper home that feels spacious and cosy, but also within a half hour's walk of Central London. I have been able to walk to work from here, and honestly, it's been so good for my mental health.

The room has a double bed, built in wardrobe and room for a desk. It is in a 3 bed house, with three bathrooms for 3 people and a garden! There's also a living room and eat in kitchen. Oh, and a parking space, in the unlikely event you have a car.

It's 8 mins walk to Vauxhall (Victoria Line and National rail) and about 15 minutes walk to Oval (Northern Line). It is a calm and clean home.

The other two flatmates are two friendly professional women, one British, one South African. One is a key worker and does night shifts, so does sometimes need quiet in the day (but never works from home). The other does 3 days a week in the office usually. We are all pretty tidy people and treat the place as a real home.

The house is in council tax band E for Lambeth. Gas and electric comes to about £50 per person per month, and water at about £20.
