Double bedroom with lovely garden & living room

Hello! We have a room available in our lovely three-bed flat (we can't work out how to edit the ad, we realise it does say two-bed which is wrong!) in Homerton / Victoria Park as unfortunately our flatmate Raci has moved back to Australia.

We are Matt and Jas, both 30. Matt works for Deliveroo and Jas works in events. We’re into all the usual things London has to offer - pubs, markets, clubs and brunching. We're looking for someone looking to make a house a home, enjoys sharing a meal over a Netflix binge / glass of wine in the evenings, and equally we're respectful of each other's space.

We have one wonderful cat, TDubbs, and a kitten will be joining us in October, so ideally, you’d be a lover of cats! Unfortunately, this also means we can’t take on any more pets.

We both work 2-3 days in the office, and the rest of the time from home.

The flat is split across two floors. On the ground floor is the living room, separate kitchen, and Matt's room. On the lower ground floor your future room and the bathroom (which will only be shared with you and Matt), and Jas' room and en-suite.

The house is technically unfurnished, but various bits of furniture have been left by previous tenants so the room can come with a bed, wardrobe and desk – or we can get rid of any / all of it if you prefer.

It's literally the perfect location in Hackney, we’re less than a 10 min walk to Homerton station and Victoria Park, with lots of shops nearby too. A big Tesco is nearby, and we're not too far from Mare Street and London Fields.

Rent and stuff...
We rent directly through the landlord which is really nice, and he's been super understanding in arranging a rent reduction due to the pandemic. Rent is currently £765/month, expected to increase to £790 from January.

Deposit: £1000
Bills: approx £130

Move in date: 28th September. The room is empty now, so it can be earlier if needed
