Beautiful room in Walthamstow next to Lloyd Park

Just around the corner from the wonderful Lloyd Park and the William Morris Museum in Walthamstow is a really gorgeous double sized room, (single occupancy only), for rent. We are looking for a new housemate to share our house who appreciates the finer points of Walthamstow, is used to London and is a vegetarian/vegan. We do not accept meat eaters! We are about 15 minutes walk from Walthamstow Central Station, (Victoria Line and fast overground trains into Hackney and Liverpool Street).

The room is nicely decorated with a double bed and antique desk, two large wardrobes, Ikea storage unit, armchair and lovely mirrors. There are also storage boxes provided in case you have extra stuff to store.

There is a dedicated sitting room and a large kitchen/diner with plenty of cupboard space, fully equipped with lots of pots and pans, large fridge, coffee maker, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer, essential for the winter months!. There are two bathrooms in the house so you only have to share the main bathroom with two other housemates.

There is a large loft for things like suitcase storage, which is fitted with Ikea shelving and lighting so you don't have to cram everything in your room.

The garden has a terraced seating area and a secure shed for bicycle storage etc. Parking is available but the area is a Controlled Parking Zone and you would have to organise a permit via Waltham Forest Council.

There are 3 other housemates, (two of us are brothers), all young professionals with extremely busy lives of their own - one of us is involved in the music events business, another is a newly graduated design engineer, (who has also worked as a fashion model!), and a social worker..

Next to Walthamstow Underground is the famous Walthamstow Market and the Sunday Social Market, which gives massive opportunities for cheap food shopping. Eateries include Yardsale Pizza, Spice Box Indian vegan, Sodo Pizza, Eat 17, the Bell pub, and the new Tavern on the Hill pub and restaurant are all a few minutes walk from the house, and we are fifteen minutes from the Blackhorse Lane Brewery Mile. and the huge Truman Brewery.

There are loads of green spaces nearby, Lloyd Park, Walthamstow Wetlands and Marshes, the River Lea and Tottenham Marshes, Epping Forest and lovely walks to Hackney Marshes and Hollow Ponds lake.
