Part-Time Lodger Wanted (Mon–Fri) – Walthamstow Village

Our current lodger, who we’ve happily lived with for the past two years, is sadly moving on, so my partner and I are looking for a friendly, tidy part-time lodger to rent our spare bedroom a few nights a week (Monday–Friday). Ideal for someone who works in London during the week and heads home at weekends.

💷 £300–£500 per month, depending on the number of nights required.

📍 Location – Walthamstow Village
We’re based in what Time Out recently named one of London’s coolest neighbourhoods – Walthamstow Village. It’s super safe, peaceful at night, with a cosy village feel and lots of great pubs, independent shops and restaurants nearby.

🚶‍♂️ Transport
It’s a 12-minute walk to Walthamstow Central Station, then only around 20 minutes into the City via the Victoria Line Underground or Overground. Door-to-door to my office in St Paul’s is around 45 minutes.

🏡 About the Flat
The flat is split across two floors, with a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen upstairs, two bedrooms, and one shared bathroom (bath and shower – not the prettiest, but fully functional!). There’s also a shared garden.

The room and flat as a whole are a great size. The bed is very comfortable, there’s super fast WiFi, and we have a professional cleaner every two weeks. We keep the place very clean and homely.

I’m a chartered accountant and commute to the City four days a week. My partner works full-time at her family’s care home. We’re friendly, respectful and enjoy a calm, tidy home environment.
