£1,250 single occupancy (bills included) + £100 cleaner fee.

Stylish bedroom and bathroom. Our home was built in the late 1910s and was architecturally redesigned and renovated with high standards. We are in the process of finishing furnishing and decorating it. There are a lot of artworks throughout the house and more paintings are waiting to be hung on the walls. The neighbourhood is pleasant, the underground and overground stations are a 5-minute walk away, to reach London's most central locations in 20 minutes.

THE SPACE
The bedroom is the largest room of the house, more than 15 square metre large. It is on the first floor and two large, beautiful sash windows open to the quiet street. The ceiling features exposed timber beams. There is a stunning made in Italy double bed (160cm x 200 cm memory foam mattress). There is a W125 x D65 cm desk and a chair. The room comes with a beautiful private bathroom with shower in bathtub, two sinks and one WC.

STORAGE
There is storage under the bed (160x200 cm). There is 3 drawer-chest (W100 cm x H80 cm x D45cm) and a small clothes rail (75 cm long) to hang light pieces of clothing. There is an overdoor coat hanger. There will be a large wardrobe from mid-May (W255cm x H230cm x D60cm), but you could bring your own (depending on measurements) or a clothes rail in the short term. There is a cellar where you can store your luggage. There is a bike hangar in front of the house to store your bike. If you don't have a bike, you can use one of ours.

ACCESS TO THE REST OF THE HOUSE
You can use the kitchen to prepare your meals. It has a 6-metre-long glazing and is flooded with light, with a view of a pretty garden with lawn. There is also a reception room where you can relax whenever you feel like it. You are obviously welcome to spend time in the garden if you wish to. I usually work from home in the study, but you are welcome to use the study when I am away.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
The house is in Walthamstow Central, a 5-minute walk from the underground station and a 20-minute underground ride to the heart of London. Walthamstow is defined as an upcoming part of London. It is arty and multicultural.

WHO YOU WILL LIVE WITH
I am a French-Italian man in my late 40s. I work in product marketing for a global company, mainly from home. I have a very friendly female cat called LaGatta. I may need you to look after her when I am away. She is very low maintenance. She just needs food and water (food and instructions will be provided). She loves playing and cuddles, so we prefer someone who likes interacting with cats. Friends of ours can come and feed her if housemates are away for a few days.
The reason why I am sharing the house is that my partner lives in Spain and rents a place there. He is an interior architect, and he designed our house. He may sometimes come to visit, and I regularly go to Spain and work from there too.
I have another person living with me. Her name is Jo. She is 27 and works as a sustainability consultant for a global consulting company. She is very quiet and works from home 3 days a week.

IMPORTANT
We have spent years renovating this house and we really care for it. We would like to keep it in good shape as long as possible. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this and will look after our place as if it was theirs.
We have a cleaner who comes every week. She does each bedroom and bathroom very thoroughly, but she sometimes run out of time to clean all shared spaces. Hence, you need to make sure you can help clean the shared spaces or the outdoor spaces for up to one hour every week.

Spending time in Walthamstow is worth it as there is so much to see: the old town is really lovely, you can visit the internationally renowned William Morris Gallery and God’s Own Junk Yard; there is a broad range of great restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner at an affordable price.
