Big double individual room - Zone 1 £600 pcm!

Hello! We are a friendly gay couple (Greek and Spanish) looking for someone to occupy a big and bright double room in our colourful flat that has become recently vacant. We both have a stable full-time job (biomedical industry and retail) and have been living in London for years, we both enjoy being very active physically and we are both qualified yoga teachers. We are quiet, respectful, diurnal, and very clean individuals and so we expect the same or similar characteristics from our future housemate.

The room is very spacious with vintage decor and consists of a double bed, 2 large wardrobes, a small chest of drawers, a vintage armchair, an electric heater, and a big table. The windows are facing the garden side of the building, making the room a noise-free place to live.

The rest of the house is small but with a warm homey feeling. There are a separate toilet and shower room, kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and 2 small fridges which will both be exclusively for you. The flat has no living room but you should have all the space you need in your room! All the bills are included except the electricity, which needs to be topped up every now and then (we pay roughly 15 pounds each per month, but this obviously depends on the time of the year).

The flat is extremely well communicated within the boundaries of zone1/2. Located in an Estate building in East Street, it takes only 15 minutes by walk to reach Elephant and Castle (National Railway, Northern, and Bakerloo lines) and Borough (Northern line). The city center is also very accessible by bus with several bus lines passing through Old Kent Road towards the center (London Bridge 10’, Waterloo 15’, Charing Cross and Covent Garden 30’, Oxford Circus 45’, Camden Town 45’). The flat has also a big choice of supermarkets nearby (LIDL supermarket 5 min away by walk, a big TESCO 10’ away, and ASDA 20’) and the amazing Burgess Park just a stone throw!

The Landlady does not live in the house and is an adorable and understanding Lady that barely interferes in the flat life, willing to help you if needed and giving you the freedom to make your room your personal space. The rent (£600pcm) is to be paid in advance on a monthly basis and a £500 deposit.
