Cosy Double in Friendly House nr Elephant/Borough

Hello,

We are Pablo, Rebecca and Alex (2 girls and a boy), and we are looking for a housemate to join our lovely home. We are, collectively, art historians, political economists, and actors. We also cook and eat and drink and make terrible terrible jokes, all of which you may be encouraged to contribute to.

We're mostly super busy, so we like to keep things as stress-free as possible. We're hoping to find someone relaxed and sociable and responsible (pay bills on time, etc).

Oh, and we have a cat called Kafkat (after Franz Kafkat), whose favourite things are eating, sleeping, and fighting with foxes.

About the house/room:

The house is very spacious. We have a big living/dining room, as well as an eat-in kitchen. There is also a fairly large balcony, which is very sunny and good for growing herbs/flowers/small trees.

The room available is a small double, with a double bed, a little desk and a wardrobe.

The house is in Walworth, which (because no one knows where it is) is about a 15 minute walk south from Elephant and Castle, Borough, and Tower Bridge. It's a great central location that has lots of bus routes, so very easy to get about.

Money stuff:

The rent is £525 and is paid on the first of the month. Bills are on top of this and work out at roughly £70/month, depending on the weather (including Council Tax, internet, water, gas, electricity).

The move-in date is flexible, from around the start of Feb. You will need a 6 week deposit, 2 weeks of which will be used as the final 2 weeks rent in September, the rest you will obviously get back when you move out. The contract for the house is currently until September, but with the possibility/probability of renewing after that.

The landlord will probably ask for a reference of some kind.

You will also need a job of sorts, or be able to show the landlord that you can pay the rent!
