Spacious double in sociable Wandsworth house

OK - First ... The Room!

We have a spacious double room (13x11) available in and diverse a friendly house share. Recently redecorated and furnished with double bed, wardrobe and side cabinets. Ample space for a desk if your 'new normal' means working from home - sigh!

The room is on the first floor and a bathroom (with a very good shower) is shared with two others (who both work their own versatile schedule meaning no conglomeration in the morning!)

Moving on to the household ...

Having recently undergone some slight recomposition, we now consist of:

-1 male, 2 female (as far as we are aware!)

-2 British, 1 Scottish (yeh ... I know ... but you can't have everything!)

-We aren't a wild party house by any means but I'd be very hard pressed to describe any of us as straight laced either! Someone who can strike a balance between clean, tidy, respectful and letting their hair down/socialising at the right time is the ideal.

- Willingness to contribute to the social atmosphere of the house is an absolute must, as is willingness to contribute fully to our systems of maintaining communal spaces. A cleaner for communal areas comes once a week and this is included in the rent. We do however all contribute to a fund to buy cleaning products and other communally used goods.

This room will suit someone who wants to join a friendly, diverse and (only) slightly bonkers household. Age, race, sexuality, gender etc etc etc - none of it matters to us. The only thing that really does matter to the current crop of inmates is that our new addition doesn't have a bad attitude, is accepting, not too uptight and willing to contribute to the great vibe we have going on. We just want someone interesting, laid back and considerate who sees their next move as a chance to join a household and make some new friends rather than someone who passes by like a ship in the night. (Let's face it - in the world we now live in, home has become more important than ever!)

We always look for new tenants who can become new friends as well; room seekers who wish to use the place as a roof over their head and have no interest in getting to know the other housemates are strongly discouraged from applying.

-We are a large house and, while we never seem to get crowded, we are strongly in preference of a single tenant. We can't consider couples for the simple reason that we don't want to become overcrowded.

-All bills and fibre broadband are included.

We tend to try to keep the household balanced so slight preference for a male tenant but ultimately we are likely to add a fifth soon so the room will realistically go to the right person regardless.
