Double Room In A Quiet Spacious Homely Maisonette

We (Jonathan and Barbora) have a spacious double room available in our lovely 3-bed maisonette.

About the flat:
The flat has two floors and plenty of space, including a shed with space to store a bicycle.
The room is available from the 10th March, although we may have some flexibility a few days beforehand.

The room has a double bed, with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table.

Cost:
The room is £975 per month including all household bills (£834.50 rent + £120.50 bills + £10 household additions, like toilet rolls and cleaning products).

The landlady covers the referencing costs and the deposit is fixed at £705 to the departing flatmate, with the total secured through an agency (your name gets added to the document).

Surrounding Area:
We live about a 5 minutes walk away from Wandsworth Common. Earlsfield & Wandsworth Common stations are 10-15 minutes walk away and there are lots of nice local pubs and cafes and a shopping centre, Southside and Tooting market.

About us:
Jonathan works from home in finance within a tech company, enjoying theatre shows, travelling and occasional board game nights.
Barbora works for the NHS, friendly, wholesome, enjoying movies, board games and cooking.

Jonathan has lived here for 7 years and I have lived here for 2 years; the person leaving will move in with her boyfriend after 2 years. We both enjoy our own company, for the most part, but friends are welcome and hospitality is important to make use of the living room :)
The home is peaceful from the busy London life and not best suited for parties.

About you:
We’re looking for someone who is open-minded, conscious, clean, and communicative above all else. We’ll also be looking out for people with similar interests and who respect the home. Ideally, friendly enough to enjoy time with, without being too secluded.

It’s generally a pretty quiet area and our neighbours are all friendly – we even have a Whatsapp chat for the block.

Our landlady is lovely and lets us get on with things, but responds and deals with issues very quickly.
