We are looking for a lovely new housemate for our wonderful shared house with beautiful garden.

East London location is Wanstead. Gardner Close, E11.

Rent is £465 plus bills which are currently at £150 each, so £615 total.

The room is a small but bright double room (with a small-double size bed provided if desired), in a big and beautiful house. Measurements 3.5m x 1.8m, and has a built in cupboard/wardrobe in one corner. You could fit a larger bed if you wanted to prioritise that in the space.

To compensate the size you pay the least rent, and there’s loads of storage in this house you can use - cupboards, bookshelves, utility room, shed, and garage.

We are Alex, Ben and Katie, creatives (actors, designers etc) in our 30’s (early, mid & late). We enjoy fun creative silliness, and socially-conscious wholesomeness. We also enjoy how clean and tidy we keep the house, and how awesome we are at communicating! Looking for a fantastic human to join us.

The house is bright, spacious, warm and welcoming. It has a lush green garden, lots of communal space; including an open plan kitchen/lounge, a large living room, two bathrooms, lots of storage, and parking.

Room available from mid-May and needs to filled by 1st June latest.

Deposit of £650 each (deposit secured by DPS with the landlady).

This will be to go on to the contract (six-months fixed term, then we go on to rolling).

The landlady’s agent will need to do a reference check, for which you’ll need to provably earn minimum £17,500/year (whether from employment or as net profit if self-employed).

Transport wise were 2 minutes walk from Wanstead station, 15 minute walk from Snaresbrook, both on the Central line and 20 mins ride to Liverpool Street. If that’s not working, it’s a 10 min bus to Forest Gate for the Elizabeth Line.

By car the A12, North Circular, M11, & M25 are all easily reachable for getting around/in/out of London.

The house is five minutes walk from the centre of Wanstead high street, and 15 mins from the green ramblings of Wanstead Park.

Wanstead is green & leafy, has a village feel with a nice high street, has all the shops, cafes and pubs etc, and even has a Sunday farmer’s market.
