Massive double bedroom available in quaint Zone 2

The living room

Our lovely flatmate is moving back to the US after nearly 4 years in the city and so we have an incredible room available in our three bedroom house.

The house is next to St Katherine's Docks which means that you can be in the city within 20 minutes of walking. Our house is in a surprisingly quite part with a canal with swan and ducks running behind the house, especially since you're just 10 mins from Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

The room that you will be rent is massive - it comes with a double bed and a built in closet. There's more than enough space to add a table, a dresser, a rug (the ones you see in the photo belong to the flatmate). You will be sharing the bathroom with Fed, who is Italian and moved to the UK last year. I am Indian and have been living in the UK since 2022.

The house has a garden, a garage, a laundry room and a separate living room which overlooks the canal. It is south-facing and receives a lot of sunshine. We really lucked out with the house and the location.

Both Fed and I work in the city; Fed once in a while works from home on Fridays whereas I usually do 5 days a week in office barring when it is terribly cold. We'd prefer someone who also works from office and doesn't have a remote job.

We love to socialise and occasionally hosts our friends over lunch and dinner but we don't throw loud parties in this house. All our neighbours have young families and so we are mindful of the noise levels. We also have a TV in the living room and every now and then we like to spruce up the garden. We'd love someone with a green thumb so help us take care of our blooming lilies. The three of us planted winter flowers and are now looking forward to our spring blossoms.

There's a BBQ in the garden which we haven't used a lot but happy to put to good use during the summers.

The bills are not included. We pay 220 towards council tax, 32 towards internet, 30 for water - all split between three people. Our utilities bill varies depending upon the season, during the summers we've paid 50-80 pounds and in peak winters it has gone up to 200.
