Bedroom available in 2 bed 2 bath flat in Wapping/Tower Hill area from end of Feb/early March, sharing with 26 year old female lawyer. Perfect for someone who works in the city and is looking for a cosy and chill home!

Location: E1W 2BA, Wapping. 15 mins from Tower Hill tube station, 20 mins Aldgate/Whitechapel station. Also close to overground (Windrush line). Walking distance to the city.

Wapping is a chill and quiet residential neighbourhood that's tucked on the doorstep of the city. Its got lots of history and character, with cute cobbled streets and old warehouses now converted into flats. We are close by the river, with lots of scenic canals to walk along and cute historic pubs like the Prospect of Whitby. The flat is also 10 mins from St Kathrine's Docks, which has lots of nice bars and restaurants on the waterfront.

Flat: 2 bed 2 bath on top floor of fairly modern apartment block. Tenancy currently runs until september, option to stay on past that. Landlord lives abroad but he is very nice and responsive when issues arise.

Rent - 1190 per month

Bills - 120ish council tax (council tax band F), 70ish per month electric (its an all electric flat so a lil spennier than gas heating), 15 wifi, 40 cleaner (she comes 1x a month to do a full deep clean of the flat)

About Kate (your potential flatmate): I'm 26, grew up in South London and have been living in Wapping since September. I work in law and I'm currently halfway through my training contract to be a solicitor. My hours can be quite long because of my job so I won't be around in the flat that much Mon-Fri (I rarely wfh), but when I am around I'm happy to socialise, eat dinner together, watch some tv etc. Hobbies include cooking, hosting events (dinner parties, games nights, cocktail party), going out to galleries/exhibitions, theatre, book club and going to a pilates class on the weekend.

This flat would probably suit you if you're a young professional working in the city, looking for a living situation that's clean, relaxed and homely, and if you have your own independent social life but are also open to making a new friend!
