Room, as well as house, has had full refurbishment in Lockdown with wood parquet flooring, full painting & decorating and is furnished with a very high quality double sofa-bed (not IKEA, £500+ bespoke), built-in wardrobe, chest of draws, large desk plus large double glazed frameless window that opens completely to enjoy great views of The Houses of Parliament (yes, you can hear Big Ben when it’s working) & the London Eye including good afternoon & evening Sun aspect daily too plus the yearly New Year’s Eve Fireworks!

House has 500M Fibre Optic Virgin Media Broadband WiFi (extremely fast & very reliable if having to temporarily work from home!) with WiFi extenders on each floor ensuring fast signal is also very strong with no drop-outs/dead-spots plus the House has all usual amenities & mod-cons including; very well equipped kitchen with American style large fridge freezer, double oven fan gas cooker, very large top of the range Panasonic microwave, professional Gaggia-style Sage (Heston Blumental) Coffee machine (essential when working from Home and almost pro-Barista now from daily use!), John Lewis washer tumble-dryer, powerful shower+bath, Dyson hoover, new high-end Worcester-Bosch gas boiler with Netatmo WiFi controlled Thermostat and individual room radiator Netatmo Smart Radiator valves (each room can be individually temperature controlled), Ring Pro WiFi audio/video doorbell, WIFi controlled room lighting (brightness & colour from mellow warm to daylight white) & very healthy amount of house plants as pictures show, etc, etc. We are also in the process of negotiating with Landlord to transform a rear unused outside space into a garden so that we can have a secluded private area to rest & relax in the Summertime.

Our USP, other than great house & very large bathroom and kitchen plus rooms themselves is obviously the location: absolute Central London, The Thames & all its professional, cultural & social amenities are effectively on our doorstep! There is too much to mention but being truly Central London by the Thames, you know that already. So close to the Centre of Town that a Season ticket Travelcard isn't needed, so save on travel costs & use Boris' Bikes or walk but if transport is needed it's all here on your doorstep only minutes away!

We're are looking for a Professional working person with normal hours & days (9-6ish/Mon-Fri: no night-shifters or evening/odd-hours workers). Temporary working from home due to CV19 accepted for interim Lockdown only but not full-time Home working. Bills+Council Tax extra. Sorry but no couples/room-shares. Party-animals need not apply as we're a professional House though we definitely enjoy our weekends/time off. We are not desperate to take just anyone or quickly fill the room but are looking for the person of the right fit to us and the House. Don’t worry we’re not looking to make you part of a House clique as we respect everyone’s individuality so there’s no pressure to conform or be part of a gang but we are looking for someone who wants to live, work and enjoy truly Central London with us and continue to do so that we have taken time and effort to build into a great unique place.
Non-smoking inside house. Longer let potential housemates especially over 1 year will gain preference. This is not just a bedroom but a well-appointed, good sized room with excellent House amenities, hence with great potential to really use, relax or utilise in your own way in the absolute heart of Central London near the Thames...

Viewings preferred on weekends from 1-3pm but also possibility of weekday evenings as we're all quite busy working in the day now WFH but don't be slow as this unique & rare combination of room size, cost & location goes extremely quickly. Last new person stayed nearly 3 years so this place all too rarely becomes available so do not miss this unique chance.

CV19 additional note: As we are now finally coming out of the Lockdown and London is definitely coming back to Life post Summer and having lived through all the previous Lockdowns here in Central London we want to lay out how we have managed to remain Covid free and are taking this forward as a House collectively until needs-be. We took and take CV19 seriously so if this mattered to you we are continuing for the interim in the same way so as to keep potential infection to a minimum within the House. We have introduced a hand gel sanitiser as you come in and also do a daily wipe-down of our commonly touched surfaces with the anti-covid IPA 70% disinfectant especially in our large kitchen with its many surfaces. So, if you are an anti-vaxxer or of the opinion that you don't care about CV19 then we are not for you but on the other hand if you are aware and want a place that keeps possibility of infection to an absolute minimum then we are on the same wavelength. As we said, Party Animals need not apply & that goes for those who don't want to obey the Lockdown rules or to see London get back safely on its financial & social feet through these short term measures.
Being within walking distance to Central London is a major selling point as we are returning to normal London Life so keep these facts in mind as our place will probably go double quick because of this so as said don't hang back or it'll be taken before you've had a chance to see...
