I have a double room available in my two-bedroom apartment in West Hampstead. It includes a separate bathroom (not en-suite but literally just next door to the bedroom).
The apartment is on the top floor of a 3-apartment house in a quiet residential road. West Hampstead tube station (jubilee) is a 2 min walk, Finchley Road (metropolitan) is about 10 min by foot. Overground and thameslink are also very close by.
The room itself isn't huge but it easily fits a double bed. It has built-in wardrobes and comes with an own bathroom.
The apartment itself is quite spacious. It has a big, comfortable living room that gets a lot of natural light. There is also a desk in the living room that can be used to work from home (I am usually in the office 5 days a week, so it is always available). The kitchen has a lot of storage and quite new appliances.
I am generally quite easy to live with. During the week, I tend to work longer so that I am only at home for a few hours in the evening. I lived with my previous flatmate for 4 years, so I understand the concept of personal space and consideration for other people. I would also be more than happy to spend some time/do some activities together, if we have some common interests.
