Hiya!
I'm moving out by the end of June and my single room will be available on 1st July, 2026. I've been here for 4 years and have enjoyed living in a bright, modern flat in a great area. It is a 2 bedroom flat, which is on the second floor of a 3 story building. My room is the smaller one and comes furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe and bedside unit. The room has it's own bathroom next door to it which has a shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom faces the back of the building looking onto the railway line. The current flatmate's room is down the hallway also facing the back of the building. The entire flat has been furnished with wooden floors, double glazed windows (blocks out a lot of the noise from the trains), air conditioning, a washing machine and dishwasher. The flat gets a lot of sunlight which keeps the flat on the warmer side.
The current flatmate is female, 34 years of age, is British/French. She works Monday-Friday, 9-5pm. She may start working from home a day or two sometime this year though. She is very lovely, quiet, tidy and when she's not out, enjoys spending some down time in the flat either reading, knitting, watching TV etc.
My current flatmate would prefer to share the flat with another female in her thirties. Someone who is equally mature, responsible, respects the shared space, is clean, tidy and doesn't bring the party/strangers home. It is a non smoking flat and no pets are allowed. The bills are extra. They are Camden Council tax, Thames Water, electric, gas and internet which currently total £177 per person each month.
West Hampstead is a great area and incredibly accessible. The tube station, overground and Thameslink are all within a 10 minute walk away. It takes less than 10 minutes from West Hampstead to Bond Street on the Jubilee line. There is an M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose all on West End Lane.
We will start to meet potential flatmates this month. Once you and my current flatmate have agreed to go ahead with the process, I will pass your details to our letting agent. They will need to do a reference check before approving you. Once you are approved, a £956 deposit will need to be paid to myself before 1st July. The rent is currently £1000 per month but it most likely will increase in July like it has done every year. The increase should be no more than £100 each. The rent will be paid to the letting agent by the 1st of every month.
If you're interested or have any questions, you can leave me a message on here. Happy hunting!
