We have one fully furnished double bedroom available in a friendly and homely flatshare close to Tulse Hill station. I'm pretty sad to be leaving but I’ve decided to move in with my boyfriend after living there for almost 3 years.
The room and flat
The available room is on the first floor and comes with a double bed, two bedside tables, chest of drawers, single wardrobe and shelf unit. If you have your own furniture, we can always move things into the spare room. And we have more furniture if you want to change things. We’re ideally looking for someone to fill the room until October minimum, the contract then renews for another year. I’m flexible with the moving date if you need to move sooner.
The flat is actually 4 bedrooms, the 4th room is smaller so we use it for storage and hanging up the washing. The first floor has the living room, shower room, separate loo and kitchen which leads out to the terrace/balcony. The top floor has 2 double bedrooms, the spare room and a bathroom.
You will be living with George (29) and Dee (31) both professionals. The house vibe is friendly, homely and chilled. We all have busy lives but when we’re home we like to watch bake-off / Netflix and enjoy a drink or two. In the summer, it’s great to have lunch/dinners on the south-facing terrace. We all have different working hours so there's never more than two of us at home usually. The landlord is super helpful, they recently fitted new windows and shower. She’s happy to sort out any issues if there are any.
The Area
It’s a quiet street, close to West Norwood high street and 5 minutes walk to Tulse Hill station. Anytime Fitness gym is 2 minutes walk away and The Electric Cafe is just around the corner. West Norwood Feast Market runs every first Sunday of the month which starts at the end of our road all the way up to the church and has tons of different food stalls, artwork etc. Brockwell park is also 10 minutes walk if you enjoy a park run.
