Very spacious double room to let (dimensions: 3,3 x 4m) in the lovely, leafy Whetstone.

This ground floor flat is in a block of 4 flats, with lots of natural light and a lovely patio at the back. The neighbours are great and the area is generally quiet and tidy.

The room is very large, big enough to easily do your exercises, or learn salsa dancing or whatever. It comes partly furnished or unfurnished, as you wish (if needed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, shelves and bed frame can be provided).

You would only be sharing the flat with me, a professional 35-year-old musician (female) and my cat. Unlike your room, other parts of the flat are rather narrow, e. g. small kitchen with all necessary appliances, including two fridges for the two tenants, bathroom, plus a small music room where a communal meal can be shared or a guest can be accommodated. The flat is generally tidy and well-kept and the landlord is very reasonable.

Transport: the flat is a 5-minute bus ride away from both the Piccadilly and Northern lines, between Arnos Grove and Totteridge & Whetstone, in zone 4. New Southgate train station is also a short bus ride away. Buses depart frequently. Nearby Whetstone high road has all sorts of cafes, restaurants and shops and Camden is within a comfy reach if you like live gigs.

I'm looking for a professional who strikes a good balance between being social and respecting privacy. Ideally you'd be leaning towards a green lifestyle (e. g. not flooding the flat with plastic waste or using strong chemicals for cleaning). You'd tolerate my singing or playing the piano occasionally, and in exchange you can have your peculiar hobbies of course :)

The room is available from Feb 19. You are required to pay £500 deposit, plus one month's rent in advance. The landlord will also require you to provide references and undergo a credit check.
