My lovely flatmate Beth and I are now looking for a 3rd buddy!

It's really important that we get the right person so please have a read and see if this might be a good fit for you. We'll be doing viewings during the day on weekends.

It would be brilliant if we could get a like-minded, chilled, and interesting person who likes a good laugh to join the flat, so here's a bit about us.

Beth has been living in London for over 3 years and is involved in HR with a London-based university. A lot of her interests involve swimming and has an extensive reading list! She also enjoys visiting London museums & galleries. Last but not least, her sense of humour never disappoints.

I moved to the UK in 2022 to work as a Marketing Associate in the sustainability sector. I love exploring London & the UK, experimenting weird healthy recipes (you could be my lucky guinea pig), dancing salsa, playing tennis, learning new English words (especially slang) and going out with mates.

Together we're outgoing, friendly and welcoming, but appreciate everyone needs their own space. We like to keep the place in good condition and tidy, but equally we're chilled enough not to get the hump if the washing up is done in a leisurely time!

ROOM
The room is a really good size and comes with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a side table, a lamp, a large wardrobe with a fitted mirror and some more shelves, so there is plenty of storage! There is also an additional desk in the room too.

FLAT & BILLS
The flat is ready to move into and very homely. It's a 3 bed that was completely refurbished in 2014 and has been really well maintained with double-glazing windows. The flat comes with the vast amount of stuff you'd need: 2xsofas, a 4 person dining table, crockery, cutlery, washing machine, drying racks, dishwasher (lifesaver), electric hob, oven, microwave, hoover, iron, ironing board, a fair amount of storage, and an optics bar in the living room.

*Council tax, electricity, gas, water, Internet, and TV licence are all included in the headline price. The only thing you'll have to contribute to will be topping up the cleaning products etc, but that will most likely be a tenner from each of us every few months. We have hired a cleaner to come in once a month to clean the communal areas of the flat and that is excluded in the price.

AREA
It's a great place in zone 2 where you can feel out of the hustle and bustle of London, yet only 10-20 minutes away from being right in the mix.

The flat is in a quiet area and there are plenty of restaurants and bars replacing the BBC Television Centre. There are good local shops and amenities within a 5-minute walk from our flat (Tesco, Sainsbury's, gym, dry cleaners, doctors surgery and dentist) and a recently-built office that is part of White City Place.

The flat about a 6/8-minute walk to White City tube on the central line. Wood Lane is just 2 minutes further along on the Hammersmith and City line. 2 minutes further and you're in Shepherd's Bush and the Westfield shopping centre that has anything and everything on top of anything and everything, including a big screen, a bowling alley, crazy golf and a cat café (a must for some)!

Contract length: 6 months minimum. But in an ideal world, we'd like to get a lovely individual in for the long haul.

THE BORING BITS
The first month of rent will have to be paid upfront with a deposit (the deposit will be in will be in a deposit protection scheme. Rent will be paid on the first of every month by direct debit.
