Sunny Double Room in Warm, Creative Nrth Ldn Home

Hello!

We have a lovely, fully furnished double room available in our welcoming North London home, ideally from 1st March (flexible from 20th February).

The room is bright and comfortable, with everything you need to move straight in:
• King-size bed
• Desk
• Chest of drawers
• Clothes rail & shelving
• Optional linen if needed

You’d be sharing with:

Makeda (me!) – I work as the Artist Liaison Manager for Ben & Jerry’s music festival, so I’m often around creative projects and events. I work remotely from the living room (which doubles as my home office).

Jocelyn – A gentle, kind soul from Haiti/Virginia who’s attending the Savile Row Academy until July.

And Hera – my incredibly sweet blind rescue dog. She’s chill, affectionate, and truly the heart of the home.

The House:

• Large communal kitchen
• Wet room/shower
• Garden
• Lots of plants and greenery (we’re big on a cosy, lived-in feel)
• All bills included (council tax, WiFi, gas, electricity, water)
• Cleaning products & communal basics included

This isn’t a party house. It’s a relaxed, respectful home where we enjoy the occasional chat in the kitchen as well as happily doing our own thing. It’s peaceful, grown-up, and comfortable.

Who We’d Love to Live With

Someone who:
• Is naturally clean and tidy (we rotate cleaning of shared areas — once every 3 weeks each)
• Is considerate and emotionally mature
• Has their own life but enjoys friendly interaction at home
• Is working outside the house Mon–Fri (since I work remotely)
• Appreciates a calm, harmonious environment

You don’t have to be ultra-social, just open, kind, and proactive about keeping shared spaces pleasant.

• Minimum stay: 3 months (with potential to extend)
• Fully furnished
• Warm, stable household
• Quick communication & responsive landlord situation
