*update* We have 3 rooms coming available: 2x at the end of Feb and 1x end of March (dates for all can be flexible just varies when we’re able to fully move out and clean the room)
It’s a lovely bright and creative warehouse in Willesden Green. We’re looking for someone to be a part of the fam.
The flats really spacious which in London, is rare, with ground floor bedrooms and a communal open plan living space upstairs and kitchen with 2 bathrooms.
upstairs: living room area, work from home area with individual desks for everyone, large kitchen and 2 bathrooms each with showers.
The open plan area upstairs also has heating and AC which is amaaazing in summer.
I’ll update photos soon of the bedrooms but they’re all pretty much the same size. They each come furnished with a double bed (with built in storage drawers in the base), bedside table, large mirror, 2 built in double wardrobes with two deep shelves in the top, And they all have a large storage cupboard above the bedroom door (enough space for about 5 suitcases)
Room 1: available end of Feb, comes with long chest of drawers
Room 2: available end of Feb, sloped roof from the stairs to the communal area, comes with the tall set of drawers
Room 3: my room available end of March, same layout as room 1 but mirrored, doesn’t come with drawers but id be open to selling some of my furniture, my door has a cat flap
they have skylights above the bed to star gaze in bed 🤩 (or a purpose built blind if not)
Due to the warehouse set up, the windows aren’t able to open in the bedrooms but the ventilation on the wall works really well and no one’s had a problem with damp/being too hot or too cold (between us we’ve been here between 1-5+ years)
Us: myself and my partner will be moving out and we both have a room each. we’re moving purely because it’s our time to move in together as a couple so it’s bittersweet because the flat has been a wonderful home for the last few years. my other housemate is the same as she’s moving in with her boyfriend, the flat has been a great place for us to find ourselves, be around supportive housemates and have a relaxing space to chill, cook, laugh and hang out outside of work and the hectic london life.
we’re looking to fill the rooms with people who are wanting the same place, who are respectful of everyone’s journey and lifestyle and a bring a warmness to the communal flat
Our remaining housemates are 2 lovely women who are Italian and Estonian who are 31/43 who are easy going, calm and caring. We’ve always valued the time that we spend together and see how everyone are for catch ups whilst at the same time enjoy our own space and respect each other’s recharge time as we all work different hours.
Coming from different backgrounds and cultures it’s always been encouraged for us to share and learn from each other whether it’s culture, food or holidays.
Myself and my partner Amy are a queer couple who have always felt welcomed and respected in the flat, which is important to note, it’s a LGBTQ safe space and future flatmates must also share the same values in that.
You: We’re looking for similar aged mid 20s/30 somethings / mature professionals, friendly, easy going and open minded who will treat the flat as a home.
We organise a cleaner or create a cleaning rota between ourselves and share common use expenses so we organise a flat meeting when a new housemate joins just so everyone is in the loop and comfortable, so someone who wants to live communally is a must :)
We’re meat eaters and share kitchen pans/utensils/ fridges so those with different diets would be welcome to bring separate kitchen items
I’ll be moving Feb/March and we have a pet cat, my bedroom has a cat flap on the door for him so anyone with pets (indoor cats as we don’t have a garden) or friendly dogs are welcome and can take my room.
Deposit is 1 months rent and the landlord will require an employee and previous landlord reference
We live in an active artists community so we have an understanding for our direct neighbours that their creative business’s may make noise at times. (Warehouse has thin walls) This usually involves video shoots or professional pop up events. Our rent is very agreeable and we have a fantastic relationship with our neighbours, so our new housemate must be accepting of this.
Let us know if you think you’d like to join our home and please send us information about yourself, Bios preferred :)
Blank profiles won’t be considered
**I’m monitoring the account but will be getting together with my housemates to go through messages so please bare with us as we can’t reply immediately, due to my own move I’ll be giving the login details to my housemates so we all have access**
