Double in lovely garden flat, 3 min to tube zone 2

Hello! Good-sized double room with desk in lovely ground floor garden flat. All bills included.

Ideal for working from home but also close to excellent transport links (3 min walk to zone 2 Bakerloo/Overground station).

You’ll be sharing the flat with me, Lucy. I'm friendly, sociable and fun and am looking for someone who wants to share a cosy home, and is happy having a catch up over a cuppa. (This definitely isn't a party flat - though I do love a summer BBQ - fingers crossed that can happen this year.)

I'm also clean, tidy and considerate, and value quiet time, and like a balance between being sociable and doing my own thing.

I am very responsible when it comes to Covid restrictions and would expect my flatmate to do the same.

I'm professional (currently work from home as a journalist, though usually commute 3/4 days a week).

The room is quiet, furnished, 4.2m x 2.8m with high ceiling, original fireplace and a king size bed with four storage drawers built in.

Room has a desk for working at home, plus chest of drawers and hanging rail for clothes. There’s also TV aerial socket if you're going old school.

The flat has a cosy kitchen - living area looking out on to a private garden. It's not a huge living space but there's enough room for a pull- out table for dinner with friends (when rules allow), and big TV.

The garden is a good size, ideal for coffee breaks when working from home, or barbecues in the summer.

The area has everything you need- Tesco is 7 min walk away, an amazing 24 hour international supermarket 5 min away and a good coffee shop and cafe about 10 mins away. Roundwood Park is lovely and is 12-15 min walk away.

It's also close to Regent's Canal which is good for running or cycling.

It's one tube/train stop from Kensal Rise, which has several nice pubs, coffee shops, a park and an independent cinema.
