Welcome to Queens Road! Come live in 1st Floor double room in well maintained 8 bedroom Victorian shared house. We are a stone’s throw from the centre of Wimbledon town and Wimbledon station. The room is 18m square - (5 x 3.5m) with good natural light through bay windows overlooking the quiet road. Room and house furnished, well organised with friendly housemates. Suitable for single or couple. Some bills on top (see below!)

Location: The house is an extremely well-situated property, 350m from Wimbledon Tube, Mainline, Tram and Bus stations. Wimbledon is a hub station which makes it an excellent location for commuting e. g. 20 minutes overground to Waterloo by train. There are loads of local amenities including: 4 Supermarkets within 400m (Tescos, Morrisons, Waitrose and Marks and Spencer), numerous shops, restaurant, pubs, Odeon and Curzon cinemas, health clubs as well as Centre Court shopping centre (it’s no Westfields but it has Gap and a Three store!). Nearby there are several local parks in a quiet, leafy and safe neighbourhood. For a of pace, Wimbledon Village the Village and Common are a short bus (10mins) or gentle 30min walk up the hill.

The House: It has a fully equipped communal kitchen with breakfast area, range cooker with 3 ovens and seven burners. We have a wall mounted electric fan oven, Microwave, and two dishwashers. There is a dedicated Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a Separate spacious double lounge and dining room. Outside there is a large Patio and maintained garden (28 x 10m). There are 2 shared bathrooms and two separate toilets. Bikes can be stored securely.

How the House works: The house is our old family home. It is run by Seb and Tobi. We’re brothers and both work as Doctors. Seb lives in the house and will deal with the day to day, Seb deals with the rental management (contracts etc) and Tobi deals with Bills. We’re friendly, down to earth and we have run the house for the last 5 years.

Included: Council tax. Cleaning of communal spaces. Wifi.

Excluded: Water, electricity, heating and cleaning products - divided among other tenants. This variable cost is managed by Tobi and communicated by email. This is roughly £35 a month but varies across the year (more in winter, less In summer).

Housemates: Young Professionals and office workers. A mixture of couples and single occupants. All friendly and relaxed.
Furnishings may be altered by agreement.
No Smoking inside property or rooms.
