I have a double furnished room available in my lovely sunny flat in central Wimbledon (12 minutes walk from Wimbledon Station for National Rail and District line, 25 min walk/short bus journey to Northern line).
The room is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. It has a view over playing fields, so you can look out on green space! The room has its own separate bathroom with a full size bath and overhead shower. My room has an en-suite, so this bathroom would be for your sole use! The lounge has a small balcony, and there is communal garden space out front. There’s also a secure underground car park with a private parking space for you, plus guest spaces.
Bills are around £200 a month (elec, gas, water, council tax, broadband), although that can vary depending on usage/time of year.
About me - I’m 38, work as an account manager in Central London 3 days a week and from home 2 days, usually Monday and Friday although it can vary. Looking for someone whose working pattern would complement this, as I would be far too distracted if I had company on wfh days! I am friendly, considerate and very clean and tidy, and expect the same. I like to keep active with dance classes several nights a week, as well as going for runs on the common. I also love a night in watching a film in my pyjamas, usually with a pizza :)
I’m looking for a female professional, preferably 30+, who is friendly, easy-going, sociable, clean and tidy. I would prefer a fellow veggie/vegan for ease. Looking to make a genuine friend, not just a housemate!
About the area - Wimbledon has good transport links (12 mins to Victoria Line at Vauxhall, 17 mins to Waterloo), and the flat is only a 20 minute walk from the common, which is fab! The area also has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars etc, as well as two cinemas and several gyms. Sainsburys is a 10 min walk away, with Waitrose, Morrisons, Tesco and M&S all within walking distance.
Deposit is £1,125, available from 14th July. The tenancy runs til April 2025 so looking for someone to commit to staying until that date. If things work out, the current rent is locked in til October 2026, so the tenancy can continue til then.
