I’m looking for an easygoing, tidy professional to take over my tenancy for my lovely double room in a 3-bed house on a quiet Wimbledon street. I am sad to be leaving but have decided to get on the property ladder myself!

The house is spacious and conveniently situated, less than 10 minutes’ walk from Wimbledon Station (mainline trains into Waterloo etc and District Line) and about 12 minutes’ walk to South Wimbledon Station for the Northern Line.

Being so close to the high street there's easy access to the post office, supermarkets (Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Aldi), gyms, cafes, restaurants, and Centre Court Shopping Centre. Walk 20 mins or get a bus and you're in Wimbledon Village and up near Wimbledon Common.

The house has a bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, and a modern combi boiler. We've also got a garden.

The room itself is large and comes with a double bed and two wardrobes. It has two big windows, blackout curtains, and gets great light in the mornings especially.

Rent is split three ways at £1,066pcm. Bills are around £120 on top, but vary depending on the season. Council Tax Band E.

You'd be living with two other housemates, Georgia (aka George) and Paul.

George works in IT (usually in the office) and has been in London for several years now. Not a party animal, but she likes hanging out with friends/housemates, going to the theatre, reading, and playing tennis. She’s pescetarian and big fan of Japanese and Korean food.

Paul has the other room and also uses a small upstairs office room as he works from home for some of the week as a civil servant. He’s keen on poetry (reading and writing it!) and film.

George and Paul are keen to find another housemate who'd be interested in hanging out as and when but who also has their own interests.

Reach out if this sounds like a good fit for you or if you've got any questions!
