Bright room in two-bed Wimbledon flat

The bedroom

My housemate is moving out so there is a double room available in a two-bedroom flat in Wimbledon. The room comes with the bed, chest of drawers, and the wardrobe, and my flatmate is happy to leave the other furniture behind if wanted.

The flat is situated in a court with lots of families, and it is a welcoming place to live with plenty of greenery around it, plus it gets a ton of natural light.

It's about 10/15 mins walk from Wimbledon train, which has train, tram and tube, and Wimbledon Park station, which is on the District line. There's also a great bus route right outside the flat which can get you to loads of places including the Northern line. It is handy for plenty of things, with a big Lidl less than 15 minutes walk away.

Bills come to around £150 each with a slight increase in winter, although the flat is very good at keeping its heat so we don’t need to use the heating that much at all. Council tax is band B.

I’ve been living here for two years, and make the most of being near both Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon Common, where I love running on the trails. I’m a friendly, easy-going person, I work in the office four days a week, with one day from home. With my work as a sports journalist, I’m away for short trips fairly regularly with longer trips every so often, meaning there’s a fair amount of time you would have the flat to yourself!

I’m looking for someone chilled, who likes a catch up, but also happy doing their own thing, and will treat the flat as a home.
