The house itself is near a lovely park which is children friendly. It is 1 minute walk to 24 hour food stores, Tesco Express and multitude of shops open 24 hours a day. TRANSPORT: It is only 20 mins tube ride to the heart of London/ Leicester Square/ Covent Garden! Bowes Park BR in to Moorgate is 7 minutes walk from the house. Amazingly easy to get to the city centre. It's 10 mins walk to the tube station and then ONLY 10 MINS TO KINGS CROSS /15 OXFORD CIRCUS!! (it takes 1.5 minutes between each stations) ALL NIGHT BUSES to the house from Trafalgar Square!! Very convenient for socialising in the centre of the city. Wood Green is served by Piccadilly line and on same platforms, change to the fast Victoria line. This place is well connected to the heart of London...Bearing in mind it is 12 minutes to walk to the station from the house (or hop on the bus in front of house) the journey time door to door is less that 20-30 minutes!! From the house Buses 141, 121, 232, 329 head to the city...and NIGHT BUS N29 & N91 from Trafalgar Square runs ALL through the night if you want to party late in the city). Bowes Pk British Rail & Wood Green tube are in the north part of the city and is well served by transport on the Piccadilly line straight from Heathrow Airport and via Kings Cross from Luton and Gatwick Airports. Night buses from Trafalgar Square run every hour throughout the night so you will never be stranded. All parts of London are easily accessible by both tube and overland rail aswell as bus services. It is 12 minutes walk is the Shopping City which has a huge cinema complex, large shops and stores, restaurants and bars, library etc.

SURROUNDING AREA: It is a very leafy suburb of London. The area is green, leafy with low rise houses from the 19th Century. Alexandra Palace (originally built for Queen Alexander and burnt down and rebuilt 9 times) and parks which has breathtaking views across the whole of London from east to west and has an Ice rink, a small golf course, a boating lake and deers. Bowes Pk/Wood Green is a residential area with a huge shopping centre, 3 screen cinema and a multitude of restaurants. It is close to the following areas: Alexandra Palace, Crouch End and Muswell Hill also close by, which provide ample opportunity for shopping or just lazing about in Alexandra Park or eateries and traditional pubs of Crouch End, Muswell Hill and further afield in Highgate or Finsbury Park. 3 minutes walk from the flat is a little park nearby with a great Italian restaurant that opens out to the park.
