The room

One single room available within a 4-bed flat share.

Bills are not included and amount to about £110 per month each (this includes gas, water, electricity, internet, and council tax).

About the flat:
The flat is located on the first floor of a two-story house.
There is one bathroom and a large shared kitchen space with a dining table and sofa (not pictured; new furniture was recently purchased) and a patio at the back of the property adjacent to the kitchen, which leads to a small garden area below.
There is no smoking inside the house, but the balcony and garden spaces outside are, of course, available.
The flat is in reasonable decorative condition, and it is kept clean by all of us. We don’t have a cleaner or a cleaning rota but simply share duties between ourselves.
Our private landlord responds to any concerns in a timely fashion.

About the room:
The room itself is available right now for immediate move-in. It is furnished with a single bed and a set of drawers, and also includes a small built-in wardrobe. If you wanted to bring your own furniture, our landlord would be happy to remove stuff for you.
The room may work best for someone who needs a short-term let, a Mon-Fri let, a student who can guarantee the rent, or someone working night shifts who needs a quiet house during the day.

About us:
The house is multicultural; LGBTQ+ friendly is a must.
Being in our 30s and 40s with busy jobs and lives, we value our peace and quiet at home and appreciate others who would feel the same way.
The balcony and garden are a lovely space in the summer months. We do our own things and appreciate a quiet home, but we do enjoy a bit of socialising and a bottle of wine or two together on occasion! There’s a lovely pub on the corner too.

About the area:
Turnpike Lane station is about a 5-minute walk away, whereas it takes about 10 minutes to get to Wood Green station (both on the Piccadilly Line). Otherwise, Haringey Green Lanes Overground is a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride.
Being so close to Wood Green High Road and the Wood Green shopping centre, it's hard to think of any local amenities that aren't within arm's reach.
