Single room in clean, cosy flat

This is the room that is to rent.

Our spare room is small but fully furnished, with a good bed, desk, bookshelves and wardrobe and a south-facing window that lets in plenty of light.
Bedding and a television are also provided in the lodger's room.

The kitchen and dining areas are part of an L-shaped living room. Cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are available to use, along with an iron, ironing board and clothes airers. The bathroom has a bath with shower fitment and curtain.

Basically, you can turn up with just your suitcase; we provide most of what you will need. However, please don't arrive with lots of stuff, as we have very little space for storage. If you have more belongings than will fit into the room, then our place is probably not for you.

In general, the flat is very modern (about 18 years old) and we keep it very clean. Our lodger would be expected to help maintain the common areas in this condition.

I work as a journalist and pop-rock musician. In my spare time I enjoy reading (mostly novels and history) and listening to a wide variety of music.

My wife is a beauty therapist, born in Romania, who likes gardening, cooking and other domestic pursuits.

We are seeking a professional person who has a high standard of personal hygiene and domestic cleanliness.
