Affordable accommodation offered in STANMORE, HA7 area, excellent opportunity for a Female only homesharer who looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
There are local bus stops few minutes away and there are a number of bus routes to travel into Watford, Harrow, and Edgware.
Stanmore is a short but ride or approximately 15 minute walk it is a London Underground station at Stanmore. It is the northern terminus of the Jubilee line; the next station towards Central London is Canons Park. The station is on the south side of London Road, part of the A410 and is in Travelcard Zone 5.

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her 80’s and lives in a lovely spacious two bedroom apartment in Stanmore, she welcomes a friendly Homesharer who understands Alzheimer who can offer support with some companionship and the added assurance of having someone at home for overnight security.
The ideal candidate would be a kind and friendly female, someone who can integrate with the householder who has Alzheimer’s, someone who is calm, kind and helpful and also friendly. She does like her home to be kept tidy and has a cleaner who comes weekly and someone who comes and prepares her lunch and dinner on some days and someone who comes to give her medicine.
Her family would feel at ease knowing there is someone with their mum at night.

ACCOMMODATION
Spacious two bedroom apartment there are several supermarket nearby Lidl and Sainsbury’s are walking distance and Stanmore Broadway has some nice café/restaurants. Nice parks and woodlands close by for nature walk.
The apartment consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large sitting room and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, separate toilet.
The homesharer will have their own single bedroom, with single bed, small desk, chair, and wardrobe, there is also shower in the homesharers room which the householder also uses as it has been adapted for her to be more accessible.
Internet will be available.

The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
